Ascendant is a social FPS PvP extraction shooter where multiple teams fight over limited resources in an ever changing map where no two games are the same.
Ascendant is humanity’s fight for survival in a world beyond recognition. Thousands of years of environmental carnage has pushed earth’s survivors into desperate measures. Only the bravest venture out in search of the resources required to endure.
There are no predesigned “Classes” or unlock paths. You choose where to spend your rewards and what loadouts to build, which perks to invest in and what aesthetic style you want to capture. Your character and loadouts evolve at the same pace you do.
Ascendant’s map is procedurally unlocked, so you can’t rinse and repeat tactics. The vantage point you found in one game could be behind a permanently locked door in the next, or it might require power to open, an NPC may be guarding it or the objectives themselves could and probably will be in the completely opposite direction!
